Inception during the Pandemic

SiomaiBro emerged during the peak of the pandemic as a startup venture founded by Elpidio Caube. Faced with uncertainties, Elpidio, armed with extensive experience in the dimsum industry, courageously departed from his job in a restaurant. With the unwavering support of his siblings, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, initially introducing brandless products such as Pork Siomai, Japanese Siomai, Sharksfin Dumplings, Chili Garlic Sauce, and Chicken Feet to friends and relatives.
2020

Brand Establishment

Momentum gained significant traction in 2021 when Elpidio, alongside his brother and friends, took the initiative to create a Facebook page. Recognizing the pivotal role of brand identity, they officially registered the name "SiomaiBro" with the Department of Trade and Industry, signalling the commencement of a distinct and recognizable brand in the market.

Incorporation and Expansion

Empowered by positive feedback and unwavering customer support, Elpidio and his brother Noel Caube, alongside their network, strategically propelled SiomaiBro to "SiomaiBro Foods Corporation" in 2024. This pivotal decision marked the establishment of a small office and commissary, serving as a testament to their unwavering commitment to growth. With an expanded menu featuring innovative additions such as Pork Shrimp Siomai and Siopao, SiomaiBro Foods Corporation thrives, showcasing resilience and a spirit of innovation in the dynamic business landscape.

Noel ‘Nowee’ Caube, the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SiomaiBro Foods Corporation, plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's overall direction and success. As a Certified Public Accountant with a master's degree in business administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Nowee brings a unique blend of financial acumen and strategic leadership to the culinary industry. Before obtaining his CPA designation, Nowee gained valuable hands-on experience as a kitchen crew member at Jollibee Foods Corporation while pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the Technological Institute of the Philippines. This diverse background underscores his commitment to both the financial and culinary aspects of the business, contributing to SiomaiBro’ s growth and success under his leadership. Nowee's journey from the kitchen to the boardroom exemplifies his dedication to the culinary arts and business management, making him a dynamic leader in the food industry.

Ronald Tabon

Ronald ‘Ron’ Tabon, a co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of SiomaiBro, holds a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operational controls and shaping the development and execution of business systems and processes – with a diverse portfolio encompassing Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Support and Customer Satisfaction, Sales Operations, and Product Delivery, Ron contributes significantly to the efficiency and success of SiomaiBro. As an Electronics and Communications Engineer (ECE) and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belter, Ron brings a wealth of expertise to his role. His extensive experience in project management, vendor management, and quality management, gained over 12 years in a Telecommunications company, underscores his proficiency in navigating complex operational landscapes. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of a universal Bank, Ron's strategic leadership ensures SiomaiBro operates at the forefront of industry standards, delivering excellence in every aspect of its operations and customer satisfaction.

Reymond De Jesus

Reymond ‘Mond’ De Jesus, a co-founder, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Company Secretary at SiomaiBro, holds a key role in overseeing the finance and accounting operations, tax, and regulatory compliance of the company. With a wealth of experience in various industry sectors, including BPO, manufacturing, logistics, real estate, and insurance, Reymond brings a diverse skill set to his position. His responsibilities include ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and reporting requirements. Mond is a Certified Public Accountant, having earned his credentials from the University of Perpetual Help Binan, and is a proud member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). His extensive background and leadership in finance, tax, and regulatory compliance contribute significantly to SiomaiBro's financial health and overall success.

Brian Morales

Brian Morales, a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SiomaiBro, leads the company's technological endeavours with a focus on strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement. His expertise encompasses cloud-based applications using low-code platforms like Out Systems, the .NET stack, Sitecore, SQL, and web services. Brian excels in problem-solving and enjoys creating innovative solutions that align with user and business needs. His successful integration of applications with external systems, such as AWS and SAP, showcases his proficiency in developing seamless and interconnected solutions. As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Brian brings a strong educational foundation to his role. His commitment to excellence in technology positions SiomaiBro for continued success and growth in the ever-evolving culinary landscape.

Elpidio ‘Sonny’ Caube, co-founder and Chief Product Development Officer (CPDO) at SiomaiBro Foods Corporation, is the visionary driving the evolution of the company's dimsum products. With over 20 years of extensive experience in various dimsum restaurants, Sonny brings a wealth of culinary expertise to his pivotal role. As the creative force behind the brand, his responsibilities span product innovation, recipe creation, culinary strategy, quality control, menu planning, and training and development. Sonny's profound understanding of dimsum, coupled with his strategic approach, ensures the continued excellence and innovation of SiomaiBro’ s diverse and delectable dimsum offerings.
